This powerful class is an Introduction to the basic philosophy of The Science of Mind, which is a practical application of Universal Spiritual principles. This is a practical class to enhance all areas of your life. The ultimate intention of the entire course is to help the student to personally identify with the Divine Self and to experience creation as the expression and the love of God.

"The present moment is valid - entering it consciously is a portal into authenticity, integrity, and intimacy."

This class is a fully experiential journey into the breath and the present moment. We will practice, study and grow in present moment awareness together.

"Present moment awareness is "being fully present within each unfolding moment just as it is - without interference - without binding it with the resonance of fear, anger, and grief arising from our unintegrated past". Only when we are present are we vulnerable to receiving, and therefore able to contain, each unfolding encounter as a divinely ordained opportunity to intimately explore the profound possibilities of our humanity. Entering the moment fully requires a behavioral transformation - a shift from unconscious reactivity into deliberate responsibility. This transformation is only authentically accomplished through integrating the underlying imprinted emotional signatures that consistently distract us from being present. No one can accomplish this on our behalf. -Michael Brown

Becoming a Professional Practitioner

This course is for those students who are preparing to be a credentialed Spiritual Mind Practitioner, or for those who want and are able to make a commitment to their spiritual studies, with the goal of serving others by knowing the Spiritual Truth.

We will start the course with the deep spiritual practice and study from the book, "The Presence Process", by deepening our awareness in the present moment. We will learn to work with others on a one to one basis, developing listening and coaching skills, as well as doing Spiritual Mind Treatment for self and others.

Each one will be invited into greater leadership and service.

This is a ONE YEAR class commitment (Sept-June)

This class follows Nutshell or Foundations. The overall purpose is this course is to understand the difference between "getting what we want" and "demonstrating by right of consciousness." We will be learning spiritual principles in order to raise consciousness and apply principles of manifestation. We will also work to clear negative subconscious programming in order to live from the NOW, versus old conditioning. Learn to live in accordance with your Higher Self's purpose.

Eckhart Tolle's
"A NEW EARTH"
In this book, Eckhart Tolle presents readers with an honest look at the current state of humanity. He implores us to see and accept that this state, which is based on an erroneous identification with the egoic mind, is one of dangerous insanity.

Tolle tells us there is good news however, there is an alternative to this potentially dire situation. Humanity now, perhaps more than in any previous time, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving world. This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one.

In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are- which is something infinitely greater than anything we currently think we are- and learn to live and breathe freely.

As we begin to see the ego's games that keep us stuck, they lose their power and authority, and we clear the way to the Higher Self's activation and empowerment in our lives.

Practitioner I is Part One of a Two Year Program for those seeking to become a Practitioner or for personal growth. This is an advanced spiritual studies class designed for the person who seeks to deepen their commitment to the understanding of their own Divine nature and their relationship to the Universal for the purpose of making a positive difference in the world. Whether or not one's goal is to be a Professional Practitioner, one can apply this class towards a Religious Studies degree through the Emerson Institute, or simply grow in their own spiritual growth and awareness.   This class will be a life-changing and consciousness expanding experience. Through study, meditation, Treatment, workshop and processing experiences, this class will definitely transform consciousness. Make a deeper commitment to your growth today.
